I don't really know anything about the Japanese version of Pokemon so I'm going to have to go with the English version for now. Most people are familiar with it anyways. I do know the personalities of Team Rocket got changed a bit in the translation. As far as I'm concerned, Team Rocket is the only reason for Pokemon to be in existance :) They are the saving grace of that series and I was very ticked when I went to see the third Pokemon movie and they were hardly in it at all >;( Anyways... I'm rambling on...

Kojirou is probably the one example of me being more comfortable with the English name. I'm gonna call him James from now on, ok? He's such a fruit >.< Like in every other episode he's in a dress at least once. He seems to get some pretty good lines, but my favorite has got to be:

Jesse: Listen to me, kid... When you get involved with the opposite sex, you're only asking for trouble.
James: Yes... And that's the kind of trouble I stay out of.

That just hit me as so dang funny >< LOL!!!

James was born to a rich family, but he ran away when he was pretty young. He and Jesse were in a bike gang for awhile (like pedal bikes... not even motorcycles lol... and James had training wheels on his ^^) before they joined Team Rocket. There are some times when James protests that something Team Rocket is about to do may be too cruel even for them, but he's always pushed into it by Jesse, the most cold-hearted and dominant of the bunch.
